Industrial Ice Machines
High-capacity continuous ice generation engineered for industrial-scale operations. Flake ice machines systems designed for demanding applications across food processing, fishing, chemical, and cold chain sectors.
Industrial ice machines are continuous-production refrigeration systems that convert water into ice in form of flake at capacities suited to industrial-scale consumption.
Calvion's ice machine designs use direct refrigerant expansion on the ice-forming surface, achieving high thermal efficiency without intermediate glycol circuits. The evaporator surface geometry determines ice formed on the surface of plate at a acceptable level which can get seperated resulting fall off formed ice on plate getting crushed through crusher attachment which makes sure that the ice is generated in flake form.
Each system is designed with automatic harvest cycles, level sensors, and hygienic ice conveyance — enabling continuous unattended operation with minimal manual intervention. Remote monitoring and alarm systems are integrated as standard for industrial installations.
Why Calvion Ice Machines
Continuous Production
Designed for 24/7 uninterrupted operation at rated capacity. Automatic harvest, discharge, and water management systems minimise operator intervention and production interruption.
High Surface Efficiency
Direct refrigerant expansion on the ice-forming surface — no intermediate heat transfer fluid — delivers the most energy-efficient ice production achievable at industrial scale.
Food-Grade Compliance
All ice-contact surfaces in stainless steel, with smooth internal profiles, cleanable in place, and designed to FSSAI and international food safety standards for ice intended for direct food contact.
Scalable Capacity
Multiple evaporator modules can be combined in a single system to meet growing production requirements — increasing ice capacity without replacing the entire refrigeration plant. Evaporator modules can also be installed on containers or floors to get ice on lower levels.
Refrigerant Compatible
Ammonia refrigerant available for large industrial installations — offering lower environmental impact, better thermodynamic efficiency, and reduced long-term refrigerant costs.
Integrated Controls
PLC-based control panels with HMI, remote monitoring, GSM alarm output, and production logging — enabling centrally managed ice production across multi-site facilities (available at request).
